Rugby-based air cadet Tommy Fuller is appealing for votes to be named as CVQO Regional Ambassador for 2016.
People can now vote on CVQO website until Friday, June 3.
CVQO is a UK-based vocational education charity, providing learning opportunities to young people and adults within youth groups
Tommy Fuller, 18, of 29F (Rugby) Squadron Air Training Corps, is competing with 14 others for votes to be named CVQO Regional Ambassador for 2016.
He was nominated due to his participation in the Street Pastor Programme in Rugby, where he patrolled the streets of the town making sure people were safe.
Guy Horridge, chief executive of CVQO, said: “The CVQO Regional Ambassador represents a very important role at the charity. The winner will work together with us and their local youth groups to champion vocational qualifications, helping younger cadets follow in their footsteps.
“Many young people don’t realise the breadth of vocational qualifications that are available to them just by attending their local youth group, most of which come at no cost to the learner.”
