Aldi will re-open its Rugby store on Paddox Close on Thursday September 24 at 8.00am, following a significant extension, with a ribbon cutting ceremony in conjunction with the 12th Rugby Scout Group.
The newly extended store will be opened by the 12th Rugby Scout Group, which will be presented with a range of Aldi products to support its activities in the local community.
First opened in 1997, the extended Rugby store will create 20 new jobs in the local community and Aldi is still looking to recruit staff for the store. More information on all roles and details of how to apply can be found online at: www.aldirecruitment.co.uk
To coincide with the opening, Aldi will also be donating a range of products to the Rugby Food and Drink Festival, which starts the day of the store re-opening. Aldi will be donating bakery products such as fairy cakes and muffins, as well as cake decorations to the Kid’s Kitchen during the Food and Drink Fayre, which takes place during the weekend of festival at St Andrew’s Church in Rugby Town Centre.
The store, which now stands at 1,048sqm, will offer around 1,500 product lines giving customers greater shopping choice, and will be supported by 88 parking spaces for customer convenience.
Aldi Store Manager Lisa Thomas said: “We’re really pleased to be opening our new-look store, and the team and I are looking forward to seeing our customers again. With such great opening week deals, we’re hoping to see some new faces too.
“We’re still looking for people to join our team, so if anyone is interested in our current opportunities, we’d encourage them to visit our recruitment website to find out more.”
Following its re-opening, the store located on 12 Paddox Close, Rugby, will be open: Monday – Saturday: 8.00am – 10.00pm, Sunday: 10.00am – 4.00pm.
