Thurlaston Village Fete takes place on Saturday July 4, promising to combine all the usual fun with a celebration of the town of Rugby – from Tom Brown’s School Days to the Rugby World Cup.

The festivities take place in the village kicks-off at 2pm with the fun carrying on until 4pm.

It features all the usual favourites, including produce and plants, gifts, toys, bric-a-brac, books and bottles, and music from the Dunchurch Band.

Refreshments will range from Pimms at the church to tea and homemade cakes in the village hall.

For younger visitors there will be the ever-popular children’s area where all games are pocket money prices.

Entry to the fete is free and all visitors are welcome.
