Appeal to find medication lost in Rugby

An appeal has been launched to try and track down someone's medicine that was lost in Rugby.

A member of the public has reported losng an amount of risperidone tablets at around 12pm yesterday (Thursday) after visiting Asda in the Chapel Street area of Rugby.

The tablets were in a Rowlands Pharmacy bag and officers are keen to locate them as they could be potentially harmful if taken by someone for whom they are not intended

A spokesperson from Warwickshire Police said: “We would like to remind people not to take medication that is not prescribed to them, after prescription drugs have been reported lost in Rugby.

“Anyone who finds the bag is asked to hand it into a nearby pharmacy, medical centre or police station so the medication can be correctly and safely disposed of.”
