Author to launch book at fun countryside day

AUTHOR and cook Clarissa Dickson Wright will be launching her new book Clarissa’s England at this year’s Warwickshire Countryside Day at Hatton Country World.

Ferrets, falconry, gundogs, hounds, clay pigeon shooting, archery and a children’s treasure trail will also be among the attractions at the event which takes place next Sunday.

There will also be shopping village, trade stands and a varied choice of food and drink with a licensed bar.

Sara Rutherford, organiser and Countryside Alliance regional director for Warwickshire said: “Warwickshire Countryside Day will be a great way for people to experience all aspects of country sports and understand their importance to the countryside and its future as well as being a lot of fun.

“We offer something for all the family to enjoy.”

The gates open at 9am and the main ring events start at 10am.

Admission is £5 for adults and free for children under 15.
