YOUNG scientists from Avon Valley School and Princethorpe College have taken part in a fun-filled day of chemistry at the University of Warwick.
The event was part of the Salters’ Festival of Chemistry. The university’s Nick Barber even gave the youngsters a explosive display of fizzing, banging and colourful chemical reactions. Each school was also represented by a team of four in the The Salters’ Challenge, in which they used their analytical chemistry skills. The event was held in association with the Royal Society of Chemistry.
