DUNCHURCH Village Hall came alive with sound and colour when cultural event A Taste of Thai took place.
It was organised by Sunathee Findlay to raise money for a school in her home town that has been ravaged by floods.
She said: “The event raised £319.02 and I would like to thank everybody who supported it in any way.
“It was a fantastic opportunity to impoverished children in Thailand as well as enjoying a new experience of Thai tastes and performances.”
Visitors were invited to taste authentic Thai foods, buy goods, have a Thai massage and watch dance shows, boxing and a Thai beauty contest.
Sunathee, who lives in Cawston, has helped raise thousands of pounds for people who have been affected by the devastating floods in Thailand.
“People have suffered badly as a result of big storms which created flash floods,” she said.
“Houses and schools have been destroyed.”
Sunathee added: “The aftermath was devastating and I will continue to raise money to help these people.”
