A LITTLE pink balloon released into the sky by toddlers at a Bilton nursery flew hundreds of miles across the sea and was found by a group of children in Holland.
Dozens of balloons, with contact details attached to them, were released from Bizzy Tots Day Nursery in Bilton on Tuesday last week.
Just days later they received an email from three youngsters who had found one of them 302 miles away in Holland.
Yoeri, nine, Ferdi, seven, and Shirley, five, from Oosterwolde found the balloon and excitedly sent an email including a picture of them with it.
Nursery manager Elly Morton said they were amazed that it had flown so far.
The balloon launch raised £86 for Breast Cancer Awareness.
Elly said: “The children, parents and staff all donated. A big thank you goes to all those involved.”
