The Malt Kiln Farm Shop in Stretton-under-Fosse has been destroyed by a fire that ripped through the building last night (Sunday).
A spokesperson for the Warwickshire Fire and Rescue service said they were alerted to the blaze at 11.38pm.
Five fire engines from Rugby, Nuneaton, Coventry and Binley, the command support vehicle, water bowser and aerial platform from Leamington Spa were deployed to tackle the flames.
The Fire service spokesperson added that the cause of the fire has not yet been determined and is unlikely to be established today (Monday). Officers are currently still working through the debris.
A Warwickshire police spokesperson confirmed that no injuries were reported but they added: “The cause of the fire is not known and arson has not been ruled out at this stage.”
On their Facebook page, the Malt Kiln Farm Shop owners described the result of the fire as a scene of “total devastation”.
They said: “We will be closed for the next couple of days but will be re-opening the pick your own and plant area shortly. Please watch this space.
“We apologise for any inconvenience to our customers.”
