BONMARCHE in Rugby’s Clock Towers Shopping Centre reopened today (Wednesday) - after closing only six days earlier.
The store had initially been earmarked for closure after the company went into administration but a buyer stepped in to save it at the 11th hour.
The shop was one of 230 across the country to be saved by new owners Sun European Partners.
As part of the administration procedure the store closed on Thursday last week but reopened under the new ownership this morning.
Manager Helen Coleman said all the staff were delighted to have kept their jobs.
Further up the precinct an empty unit is being fitted out in preparation for a Trespass store to open.
The clothes shop sells outdoor clothing including ski wear and waterproof jackets.
Trespass replaces a former clothes shop that closed down earlier this year.
