YOU’RE never too young to fight for a cause - as three ten-year-olds from Rugby are proving.

Luke Fernando, Ryan Loosemore and Stuart Hughes have organised a series of events to raise money to stop poaching.

They are joining a campaign organised by the World Wide Fund for Nature to end the practice of killing protected animals in the wild.

Luke said: “We are doing this as we have always had a love for animals and disagree with them dying needlessly.”

The three Year 6 pupils from Northlands Primary School ran a fundraising stall at the school on Wednesday last week.

They are undertook a sponsored cycle on Sunday, and will go on a sponsored run on Sunday October 14 and hold a penalty shoot-out on Sunday October 21.
