A body recovered from the river Leam in Marton on Monday April 6 has been identified as missing man Baljeev Johal.
Baljeev, who was 24, was reported missing on October 5 2014 from Ryton-on-Dunsmore after attending a wedding at the Sports Connexion on Leamington Road.
His body was found the day after the six month anniversary of his disappearance.
Baljeev’s family has been informed and has asked to have their privacy respected as they come to terms with the news.

Baljeev had recently graduated from Leicester University with a 2:1 degree in business.
His sister Haneet has described him as a homely kind of person, who was quiet and kept himself to himself. She had described how life had stopped since Baljeev went missing.
The family had been out searching for Baljeev every day and trying to make contact with him.
