FINE & Country has announced the appointment of a leading commercial and intellectual property lawyer as the new CEO of the network.

In his new role, Matthew Pryke will be responsible for the continued growth and success of the award-winning brand.

Matthew will be working closely with Fine & Country and the other office s throughout the UK and internationally.

Fine & Country’s success to date derives from the unique structure of the Fine & Country network as a licensed brand selecting only the best agents in each region throughout the UK and internationally.

The hand-picked licensees bring a level of local knowledge and expertise which is invaluable to the buyer and seller.

Sam Funnell, branch manager at Fine & Country in Rugby, said: “In all of our years of operating in the Rugby area we have gained market share by employing a team who are either born or immersed in the local community.

“This is combined with access to Fine & Country’s wealth of experience, powerful marketing ability and talents from the network’s head office in Park Lane. I look forward to working closely with the new CEO and remain ahead of the curve.”

Matthew joins a team including: Richard Combellack, a masters graduate in management and marketing who heads-up a team of marketers, technical experts and graphic designers; Mike Bidwell, a former estate agent with 30 years’ experience in the industry, training and networking; and Marcus Whewell, a Cambridge University economics graduate with business experience and acumen who also heads a professional services team dedicated to delivering quality property presentation within the network.

Managing director Malcolm Lindley said: “I have always believed that the strength of the whole is greater than that of the sum of the individual parts and this philosophy has underpinned Fine & Country’s continued success.”
