BOXING champion Frank Bruno is this year’s guest at the Rugby Business Awards.
The ‘Know what I mean ‘Arry’ celebrity won’t be pulling any punches at Dunchurch Park Hotel in Rugby on June 10.
Frank Bruno MBE is an English former boxer whose career highlight was winning the WBC Heavyweight championship in 1995.
Altogether, he won 40 of his 45 contests.
His most famous fight was in 1989 when Bruno challenged Mike Tyson for the unified world heavyweight title.
Like Henry Cooper before him, Bruno has remained a popular celebrity with the British public since his ring career ended and still appears regularly in pantomime.
Ginny Hunter, Advertisement Manager at the Advertiser, said: “We are thrilled to announce that this year’s guest at the Rugby Business Awards is none other than Frank Bruno, former heavyweight champion.
“Frank is a popular celebrity and we are really pleased that he will be joining us on the night to help celebrate Rugby’s most successful businesses.”
Details of ticket prices and how to enter Rugby Business Awards, which is organised by the Advertiser, will be revealed soon.
