Businesses across Warwickshire turn fifty into thousands for Myton Hospices

Staff members from IRESS, at Warwick Technology Park, and Denfield Advertising, based in New Street, were among those putting their business skills to the test turning £50 into as much as possible for the charity in 50 days.

Now in its fifth year, the challenge has raised almost £160,000 for the charity.

A total of 30 teams from across Coventry and Warwickshire took part in the challenge with IRESS taking the prize for the most money raised with a total of £5,151,30.

Sally Padmore, client services manager for IRESS - a leading global supplier of innovative technology for the financial services industry - said: “It was so much fun organising different events and bringing people together. It means so much to us that people really got behind us to help raise money for this amazing charity that is close to our hearts.”

The Denfield team also received awards for Best Newcomers and winning the new Jailbreak contest after reaching Cyprus in just 24 hours.

Paragon won two awards for being the Most Innovative and the Most Improved on Last Year.

The awards were presented at a dinner hosted by Woodland Grange in Leamington - the event’s sponsor.
