AUDIENCES are invited to join the Cats Kidz as they take a musical journey through fantasy and imagination.
The Christine Anderson Theatre School presents Synergy at Rugby Theatre from Thursday, December 8 until Saturday, December 10.
The show has been designed to take audiences on a musical journey through fantasy and imagination featuring contemporary to classical and gymnastics to jazz.
Christine Anderson, owner of the theatre school in Rugby, said: “As always the show features the terrific enthusiasm and energy that Cats has and highlights modern jazz, ballet, song, tap and musical theatre that the school has a great reputation for.”
Synergy is choreographed by Christine’s daughter Vicki Jo who recently choreographed Our House at Rugby Theatre.
The show received standing ovations and Vicki is well known for her outstanding ideas and dedication to the project in hand.
The Christine Anderson Theatre School has flourished in Rugby for more than 38 years and Synergy is its 36th annual show at Rugby Theatre.
Christine said: “The school has successfully produced a high standard of ballet, jazz, tap and musical theatre and has repeatedly seen many pupils accepted into the best vocational schools in London - several winning scholarships for degree and diploma courses.”
One former Christine Anderson pupil - Nick Blair - has recently appeared in Love Never Dies in the West End and is currently touring with Tommy Steele in Scrooge, recently stopping to perform at Milton Keynes Theatre.
Performances on the Thursday, Friday and Saturday start at 7.30pm.There will also be a matinee performance on the Saturday at 3pm.
Tickets cost £9.50, with concessions £8.50.
