Police have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with a theft that occurred at St Andrew’s Rugby Club.
Two wallets and mobile phones were stolen from the men’s changing rooms during a training session at the Ashlawn Road club some time between 7pm and 9pm on Thursday, September 22.
A police spokesperson said: “Both wallets contained bank cards as well as money and it is believed the cards were later used to carry out fraudulent transactions in the area.
“A wedding ring was also taken during the incident and the victim is keen for it to be returned as it has sentimental value.”
Officers would like to speak to the man pictured above as they believe he may have information that will help with their investigation.
