Charity volunteers gave 39 years of service

CHARITY shop volunteers have been given a fond fairwell after they clocked up almost 40 years between them.

Volunteers from the Cancer Research Shop, Bedford Street, said goodbye recently, after many years service at the bedford Street shop.

Rita Campbell worked at the Cancer Research UK shop in Bedford Street, Leamington, for 19 years while her colleague Margaret Salter worked there for 20 years. Fellow volunteers held a party to mark the womens’ retirement and shop manager Chris Millington said they will be missed. New volunteers are needed. Call 887599.
