IT IS the end of the road for the hip-shaking hairdresser who has made national headlines for her dancing on ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent - or is it?

But she was voted off by the public, despite winning rave reviews from the judges.

However, Simon Cowell - who exchanged flirts with Edith throughout the show - said he may consider her for a wild card spot in the show’s final.

The hairdresser from Leamington runs Hair X Press in Clemens Street. The salon has been transformed with many good luck messages and TV cameras came up from London to film her at her business.

On Wednesday’s show, the judges also told Simon to go to Leamington to get his hair cut by Edith.

They also praised her performance when she covered JLo’s On the Floor (see photos on the left).

But it was not enough to win the public vote to the final.

Her flirts with Simon Cowell have made her one of the most memorable contestants on the TV show, which is watched by millions.

Speaking exclusively to The Courier on Thursday, Edith said: “It was amazing, the performance went really, really well and I was treated like a star.

“My sisters (who work with her in the salon) are very proud of me and I feel very popular.”
