ANDY Parker was online last night taking part in the first live chat hosted by Warwickshire Police.

Mr Parker responded to questions covering a wide range of topics including roads policing and initiatives to tackle crime and received a number of positive comments from members of the public who appreciated the opportunity to interact with him.

The online chat was live from 7.30pm to 8.30pm, though questions were answered offline beyond this time.

Mr Parker said: “I am delighted with the success of this first online chat, and with the amount of positive feedback we received which proves that there is an appetite for this type of communication.

“I would like to thank everyone who took part last night for their questions, comments and patience. It was a learning cure for us and we will take the lessons learned into our planning for future events.

“I fully intend to repeat this and look forward to chatting to more members of the community online.”

Dates of future events will be announced in due course.
