Get into the spirit of Christmas with a festive fair at New Directions in Rugby tomorrow (Saturday).

It runs from 4pm - 6.30pm at Gateway Court, 33 Bilton Road.

This event is free and will have an array of festive stalls with unique handmade gifts, cakes, sweets, plants, wreaths and much more for sale and Santa will be meeting and giving out gifts to children. There will also be hot soup, turkey and stuffing rolls and drinks available and festive music.

New Directions’ CEO Doreen Woodward said: “This free Christmas event will be great for families to enjoy together and to buy special handmade Christmas presents whilst also supporting our local charity working with people with learning disabilities in Rugby.”

New Directions provides learning disabled people a wide range of support and services which include supported living, home care, respite, day activities, residential, transition from adolescence to adulthood and dementia support.

This Christmas event is followed up next year by a Fundraising Ball at Rugby’s own Benn Hall on Friday, March 6 2015 which will be a black tie affair with live music, auction, dinner and dance. Tickets cost only £25.
