RUGBY Library is hosting a couple of events for children throughout the holidays with a circus theme.

Top Clown includes stories, face painting and a treasure hunt with clown crafts to take home and a fancy dress competition for those who dress as clowns. It is ideal for children aged from 4 to 12 years.

Top Clown takes place at 11am on Thursday, August 18.

Tickets can be bought at the library for £2.50 each and should be bought in advance as places are limited.

A second event, the Word and Story Circus takes place on Wednesday, August 17 and is also priced at £2.50.

Word wizard Andy Newbound leads learners on word fact and fun missions, team games, a new creative story challenge and talks about his latest book ‘I, spy’. The 90 minute session starts at 2pm.
