A 29-year-old man has been remanded in custody charged with a drug offence following a routine police stop of a vehicle near Rugby.
Uniformed officers stopped Isaac Sai, from Balmerino Close in Monkston, Milton Keynes, as he joined the M1 on Thursday evening last week (October 17).
A quantity of a Class A drug, believed to be cocaine, was discovered in the vehicle and Sai was arrested and taken into custody.
He was charged with possessing a Class A drug with intent to supply and appeared at Leamington Spa magistrates court on Friday 18 October. Sai was remanded in custody until 27 January 2014 when he is due to appear at Warwick Crown Court.
