Team members from Hafele UK in Rugby have helped raise more than £5,000 for Breast Cancer Campaign.

Jodi Garrett and Martin Poulton joined a larger team of 16 to take on the UK’s largest mountain - Ben Nevis.

After the first climb in 2014, the fundraisers were joined by fellow Häfele employees Gareth Bevan and Graham Morritt as the team then set their sights on England’s largest mountain, Scafell Pike on June 21.

The expedition was prompted by the recovery of a cancer sufferer, a close friend of Jodi’s, who organised the trip.

Jodi said: “The challenges so far have been tough at times but Martin, Gareth, Graham and I all feel that the experience has been incredibly worthwhile and eye opening.

“On a personal level, it was also important for me to support my friend during her recovery process and the team and I could not have been prouder or happier to walk by her side during this challenge. Helping people with breast cancer is such a good cause.”
