Pep&Co opened on November 11 with Rugby mum Jane Noble chosen to open the store alongside Rugby Mayor Cllr Mrs Sally Bragg.

Store manager Neil Chapman said: “We had an excellent opening morning with a crowd of locals waiting to get inside our store as soon we opened our doors at 10am.

“Jane was fantastic and we had great fun showing her our ranges and kitting her out in Pep&Co pieces, before she officially helped the team to open the store.”

The move to the town comes after 30,000 people voted for Pep&Co to open in places they love, after the retailer featured in its own six-part prime-time ITV series, Bargain Shop Wars.

The retailer launched 50 stores in 50 days last summer and the Rugby site is one of 35 new stores opening over the next 12 months.
