There are heavy delays on the M6 northbound after a coach caught fire at junction 3a earlier this afternoon (Monday).
West Midlands Ambulance Service tweeted a photo of the burnt-out wreckage (above) and have asked people to avoid the area.
They added: “Our crews are currently assessing two children but no-one badly hurt. All got off the double decker coach before the fire took hold.
“We have two ambulance, a paramedic area support officer and a senior paramedic officer at the scene. More details to follow.”
The road was closed completely while firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze but one lane has since reopened.
