One of the UK’s most popular comedians returns to the Warwick Arts Centre this autumn following his successful tour Carpet Remnant World.
Stewart Lee’s Much A-stew About Nothing will take place on Wednesday October 2 at 8pm at Warwick Arts Centre’s Butterworth Hall. For this show Stewart will be testing out ideas for his up-coming television series, to be aired in 2014.
His last show, Stewart Lee’s Comedy Vehicle, was a roaring success among viewers and cemented his place as one of the UK’s most creative, original comedy talents.
The Guardian named Comedy Vehicle as one of its top ten television highlights of 2009, commenting that it “was the kind of TV that makes you feel like you’re not the only one wondering how we came to be surrounded by so much unquestioned mediocrity”. The series was the BBC’s second most downloaded broadcast during its run. To find out more, see warwickartscentre.co.uk.
