Creative minds name mascot for Kids Run Free
A LEAMINGTON charity that provides free running events for children across the UK now has a named mascot, thanks to the creative suggestions of children in the area.
Kids Run Free set youngsters the task of coming up with a name for the figure - and Leamington boys Madoc Williams (ten) and Shay Browne (six), who coincidentally came up with the same name, were selected as winners.
The name will be revealed at the launch of the Coventry Kids Run Free event on April 7, where the boys will be presented with a trophy.
The charity currently runs an event at Newbold Comyn in Leamington on the first Saturday of every month.
