Arrests made after Brownsover stabbing saw two men in their twenties rushed to hospital

This is still an ongoing incident with officers still at the scene so struggling to get the finer details but I can confirm the following:

Two men have been arrested and two men in their twenties have been rushed to hospital following a stabbing in Brownsover earlier today, June 11.

A spokesperson for Warwickshire Police told the Advertiser that officers were called to an address on Skiddaw shortly before 3pm to a report that two people had been stabbed.

When officers arrived they found two men, aged 20 and 28, with stab wounds.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to reports of a stabbing at 3.01pm in an area of Brownsover, Rugby. Two ambulances, a paramedic officer, the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance and a BASICS doctor were sent to the scene.

"Crews arrived to find two patients, both men, who had been seriously injured.

"They each received trauma care on scene by the team of medics before being taken by land ambulance on blue lights to hospital for further emergency care."

Police said the two men remain in hospital, and one of them is in a critical condition.

Two people have been arrested in connection with this incident.
