Burglars steal house safe in Rugby

Police in Rugby are investigating a burglary at a house in Featherbed Lane on Saturday evening in which a safe was stolen.

Two males with the faces covered, forced their way into the house at just before 7pm. They ran off into the surrounding estate carrying the safe and its contents.

Police are appealing to anyone who saw anything suspicious in Featherbed Lane or the surrounding streets at around 7pm on Saturday evening.

They are asked to phone Warwickshire Police on 101 and speak to Rugby CID, or they can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 or via www.crimestoppers-uk.org where the information can be given anonymously.
