Car crashed twice in and near Harbury before driver ran away

Police are appealing for witnesses after a car was involved in two separate road traffic collisions last Friday.

The first collision took place in Mill Street, Harbury, outside the Shakespeare Inn car park at 10:30pm when a black Peugeot 307 collided with a parked black Honda saloon.

The collision caused the Honda to crash into the wall of a residential home causing it and the Honda significant damage.

The Peugeot left the scene in the direction of Southam.

The second collision took place at 10:40pm when the same Peugeot crashed into a ditch on the Bascote crossroads on the A425.

The male driver was seen leaving the scene on foot.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed either incident to come forward by calling 101 quoting incident number 440 or 449 of Friday September 12.
