Chief Constable’s awards for members of the public for Neighbourhood Watch work

Members of the public who have given their support to policing in Warwickshire through Neighbourhood Watch have been rewarded by the chief constable.

Chris Cade and Lynn Price received Chief Constable’s NHW Individual Awards in recognition of their enthusiasm and commitment to Neighbourhood Watch in Rugby and Bedworth and Bulkington respectively, whilst the Nuneaton and Bedworth Neighbourhood Watch Association has received a Chief Constable’s NHW scheme/area award.

Other recipients were Joseph Holland - Chief Constable’s NHW Partnership Award for his enthusiastic support of Neighbourhood Watch, youth and school projects; PodWatch - Chief Constable’s NHW Award for Young People in recognition of the youth membership who have worked within the Kingswood community to promote the activities of Podwatch in reducing anti-social behaviour; Kathleen Bailey - Chief Constable’s NHW Lifetime Achiever’s Award and Police and Crime Commissioner’s NHW Premier Award for her 28 years working with Neighbourhood Watch and recently developing Junior Neighbourhood Watch within North Leamington primary schools.

The awards were presented at a ceremony at The Holiday Inn, Kenilworth by the Lord Lieutenant of Warwickshire, Tim Cox last night (Wednesday).
