Elderly woman hit by car in Rugby retail park

An elderly woman was hit by a car in a retail park in Rugby last week.

The incident happened in the Elliot's Field retail park on Friday November 22.

At around 5.10pm, a blue Volvo XC90 was hit a pedestrian, a woman in her 70s, in the car park outside Marks and Spencer.

The woman was injured by the incident and was taken to hospital.

Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with any information should call 101 quoting incident number 361 of November 22.
