Five arrested after two early-morning burglaries in Rugby which saw three cars stolen

Five arrests have been made as part of a police investigation of two car key burglaries in Rugby which saw three cars stolen.

In the early hours of Saturday, May 15, a Mercedes was taken after keys were stolen from a house in Corbridge Place, Cawston.

And in the early hours of Sunday morning two BMWs were taken after keys were stolen from a house in Gold Avenue, Rugby.

The following four people were charged with two counts of burglary and will appear at Coventry Magistrates’ Court today (Tuesday 18 May):

Amani Adams, 18, of Chester Road, Birmingham

Caslim Montgomery, 18, of Magee Close, Rugby

Reece Ali, 19, of Magee Close, Rugby

Kaine Wheeler, 19, of no fixed abode

An 18-year-old woman from Rugby arrested on suspicion of burglary was bailed until next month.
