Generators, saddles and a lawn mower targeted by thieves in Warwick district

Generators, saddles and a lawn mower have all been stolen over the last few days from across the Warwick district.

The first incident (incident number 148 of July 24) happened at sometime between 12.45am and 1.30ham last Friday (July 24) where thieves attempted to break into a Vauxhall Vivaro, which was parked in Woodcote Avenue in Kenilworth.

However police said that 'due to CCTV alerting householders together with their subsequent vigilance and actions the offenders made off without taking anything in a vehicle believed to be a VW Golf.'

The second incident (incident number 127 of July 25) happened at some point between midday last Friday (July 24) and 8.45am on Saturday (July 25).

Thieves entered the allotments in Old Milverton Road in Leamington and broke into a shed.

They then stolen two generators, a lawn mower and other items. Another shed on the allotments was also broken into but no items were taken.

The third incident happened sometime overnight on Sunday evening going into Monday morning.

Someone broke into a yard in Wootton Lane in Balsall Common.

They then stole all the tack including six saddles and bridles and two of the saddles were brand new.
