A man has been charged with wounding in connection with an incident in Leamington.

Craig Maddock, aged 34 of Avenue Road, Leamington, has been charged with Section 18 wounding.

He will appear at Magistrates' Court in Leamington today (Wednesday July 15).

The charge is in connection with an incident on Avenue Road on Sunday night (July 12).

A 43-year-old man from Leamington has also been arrested on suspicion of Section 18 wounding in connection with the incident.

He has been released on bail whilst enquiries continue.
