A man was arrested after incident at Leamington railway station at the weekend.

According to the Policing South Warwickshire Twitter page, officers assisted British Transport Police with the incident, which happened on Saturday (May 2).

Ryan Nelson, 18, of Newbold Street, Leamington, was charged with; possessing an offensive weapon in a public place, assault by beating of an emergency worker and possessing a controlled drug of Class B – Cannabis/Cannabis resin.

He was bailed to appear at Magistrates’ Court in Leamington on June 26.
