Man found on street in Rugby with a broken leg and facial injuries - what happened?

An injured man was found on a Rugby street - and police are trying to establish what happened to him.

At around 9.40pm on Friday, November 29, a man in his twenties was found injured on Bilton Road.

He was taken to hospital where he was treated for a broken leg and injuries to his face.

He has since been discharged.

Police are investigating how the man sustained his injuries - and they would like to speak to anyone who may have seen him on the night.

A spokesperson for Warwickshire Police said: "We would also like to speak to the driver of a small red car, which is believed to have been at the scene at the time with its hazard lights on."
