A man has been left with serious facial injuries after a knife attack in Leamington.

The assault happened at around 11.45pm on Sunday (July 12), a man was found with serious facial injuries in the town. These are believed to have been caused by a knife in an alleyway near to Avenue Road.

The man, aged in his 30s, was taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries have required surgery.

The suspects are described as two men – one was white, around 5’11” of a slim build, and the other is believed to be a black male.

This is currently being treated as an isolated incident.
