Man released on bail after assault in Rugby left 37-year-old in hospital with serious head injury

Police arrested a 30-year-old man on suspicion of the assault - which is reported to have happened on Jubilee Street at around 2.30pm.

The man was questioned by police before being bailed until December.

The victim is said to be in a stable condition.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or has information that could help police with their enquiries to call 101 quoting incident 254 of 7 November 2018.
