A man vandalised several cars belonging to nurses at Warwick Hospital, while they were treating patients inside.

Some staff had to dragged away from their patients to deal with the matter last night (Sunday February 21).

The man smashed windows, dented bonnets and ripped off wing mirrors.

Police said a 39-year-old man from Stratford was arrested and later charged with three counts of criminal damage.

He will appear at Warwickshire Magistrates’ Court on March 23.
