Men have little to celebrate after being arrested in Rugby on suspicion of stealing bottles of champagne
Two men from Luton had a cork put in their plans when they were arrested in Rugby on suspicion of theft.
On the afternoon of Tuesday, May 11, two men from Luton were stopped by police on Crick Road.

Hide AdOfficers had stopped the car because they suspected it of being used in an attempted theft in the town.
The officers' intuitions proved to be sparkling when they discovered 20 bottles of champagne and whisky in the car.
The men were not able to provide receipts for the boozy loot, leading to their being promptly arrested on suspicion of theft.
As of today, May 12, the two men remain in custody.
