A spokesperson for Warwickshire Police confirmed while on patrol officers found 'three cars together containing eight people from different households.'

All people involved were reported for Covid-19 lockdown breach fines on Saturday February 27 at the country park.

Earlier this year Warwickshire Police officers issued similar Covid lockdown breach fines to a couple from Southam.

The police issued tickets to a couple who were found in their car watching 'The Only Way is Essex' on a phone at Burton Dassett Hills Country Park in January 2021.

Warwickshire Police officers with the Wellesbourne Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) issued the tickets while on patrol at the park and working to enforce Covid legislation.

Officers issued a total of four tickets to people who were in breach of the Covid lockdown rules at the country park that week in January.

Wellesbourne Police took to social media share information about the Covid enforcement, which included the following message: "We’ve all got a part to play in slowing the spread of the virus. #StayHome"
