Murder investigation update: public urged to stay away from Newbold Comyn in Leamington

The public are being urged to stay away from Newbold Comyn in Leamington.

Police are continuing to investigate the area after the body of a woman was discovered in the area yesterday (Thursday October 30).

Officers said that they will need to search the whole site so they are asking people not to visit the area.

Earlier today police also identified the body of the woman who has now been formally identified as 31-year-old Nichola McGregor from Leamington

The incident has been linked to the other two murders in Coventry.

A manhunt has been underway for 38-year-old Anthony Russell since the bodies of Julia Williams and her son David were found in separate flats in Coventry earlier this week.

He was arrested earlier today on suspicion of murder and robbery in relation to the car. He is due to be questioned later today.
