Police dealing with what are believed to be two serious incidents in Hillmorton and Overslade

Emergency services are dealing with what the Advertiser understands to be two serious incidents in Rugby this afternoon, February 7.

One incident saw an area of Balcombe Road in Hillmorton cordoned off and police cars and paramedics have been at the scene.

Earlier this afternoon police were advising residents to avoid the area, and at around lunchtime an air ambulance was in attendance.

What is believed to have been a second incident occurred at Saunton Road in Overslade.

When the Advertiser attended the scene at around 4pm there were three police cars, two marked and one unmarked.

UPDATE: A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following a stabbing.
