Rugby man faces drug-dealing charges

A Rugby man has been charged with conspiracy to supply Class A controlled drugs, namely heroin and cocaine, after a covert police operation.

Shane Hunt, 26, was the central focus of the operation and was arrested in July after police carried out a drugs warrant at a property in Betony Road.

After a methodical search officers seized various items which were conducive with drug trafficking including £900 in cash.

Following the conclusion of the investigation, Mr Hunt was charged, and was bailed to appear before Warwickshire Magistrates Court on Wednesday January 6.
