Residents in Long Itchington awoke to see rubbish dumped in the road near their village.

The flytipping waste was found on Stonebridge Lane on Monday morning (April 6) and cover a distance of about 100 metres.

Early morning dog walkers helped to move it into piles so traffic could get through.

With waste and recycling centres close due to coronavirus, many fear that flytipping will increase.

Stratford District Councillor, Louis Adam, has reported it to the council for removal.

The council maintains high standards on their refuse and recycling collections, which are appreciated by residents, who take pride in their village.
