The driver of a Fiat Panda came rather unstuck when they tried to lie to traffic officers after being pulled over.
The blue Fiat was stopped by officers from OPU (Operational Patrol Unit) Warwickshire on the A4071 near Rugby when it showed as being uninsured and untaxed.

Hide AdWhen the driver insisted they had an insurance policy, police investigated further and discovered the driver had not had insurance for four years.
The vehicle was also confirmed to be untaxed and the driver had an expired driving licence.
Officers seized the blue Fiat and reported the driver for all the offences.
