Whitnash driver who was not wearing a seat belt nearly reversed into police car - because she was distracted while on her mobile phone

A driver in Whitnash who was not wearing a seat belt nearly reversed into a police car - because she was distracted while on her mobile phone.

Warwickshire Police said the driver has been reported for both offences.

A police spokesperson said: "We stopped this vehicle (pictured) in Whitnash as the driver had placed her seat belt behind her back instead of wearing it.

"As we attempted to stop the vehicle, the driver nearly reversed in to us as she was also using her phone."
