The woman in this picture likely helped the victim of an attack in Rugby town centre - do you know who she is?

Police investigating an assault in Rugby town centre have released a picture of a woman who they believe could help with their enquiries.

The attack happened around 1.50am outside Midas Lounge on Church street on December 19 last year.

Police believe the woman in the picture may have helped the victim into the silver car.

The car may be a Vauxhall Zafira or a Peugeot 207 SW.

A spokesperson for Rugby Police said: "We appreciate the poor quality of the images however the female/driver of the vehicle may recognise themselves from the images.

"No arrests have been made but officers would like to speak to the driver of the vehicle and the female as they are believed to have information that could help the investigation.

"If anyone can identify the female and the driver of the vehicle can they please contact 101 and quote incident reference 236 19/12/19."
